Geoffrey Wight

Assets Risk Management’s Founder and President, Geoffrey Wight, is a lifelong equestrian with a primary career foundation in high-profile, profession sports management. Geoff held a top executive position with IMG, the sports management juggernaut, managing the Special Projects Division out of New York, representing the 100th Anniversary of the Nobel Prize and creating network television events such as the conception and initiation of the NBC special, “The Jackson Family Honors,” with Michael Jackson, his family and artists like Celine Dion, Smokey Robinson, Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight, who all came together to celebrate the worldwide artistic impact of the Jacksons.

At IMG, Geoff was also a sports representative of some of the world’s greatest athletes, like Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Martina Navratilova, Andre Agassi, Joe Montana, Wayne Gretzky, Capt. Mark Philips, Michael Shoemaker and others.

In equestrian sports, he was Executive Director of the American GrandPrix Association with Gene Mische; the creator of the Royal India/USA Polo Exchange, whose chairman was His Highness The Maharaja of Jaipur; and consultant to the United States Equestrian Team, creating the spectacular multi-discipline Festival of Champions for their Gladstone, NJ headquarters.

As a financial advisor, Geoff is passionate about collaborating on custom financial strategies, designed to help clients in the areas of risk management optimization, asset preservation and growth that integrates with the dynamics of living life at its best. “I want to know what’s important to my client, where they’ve been, what’s going on right now, and where they want to go.”
